Recipients for this scholarship will be selected by the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity (Xi Nu Chapter).
Requirements for consideration:
A letter of recommendation from an adult (supervisor, teacher, Minister, Counselor, etc.)
Submit a one-page description of self which includes dreams, personality, aspirations, family history, school experience and reason for attending the HBCU tour.
Must be a participant in mentoring, cultural, religious, or self-improvement program/environment.
Must be a male in high school.
Must have consistently exhibited positive behavior/character traits.
Recipient must have an interest in the fields of science, engineering, technology, and mathematics. Recipient must have demonstrated, by academic performance or interest, participation in STEM activities. Recipient must exhibit an interest in community affairs and participation in community events.
Reginald “Reggie” Braddock is an engineer, deacon, CEO of C.A.R.L. and member of Xi Nu Omega Psi Thi Fraternity. He has been accompanying and organizing Historical Black College tours for twenty-five years.
