Carl Ray was an electrical engineer, actor, author, comedian, and motivational speaker who mentored youth via tours to Historically Black Colleges and Universities. He stated, “My secret to motivating youth to seek a higher education is simple…put them in an environment where they can see themselves becoming successful. A picture is worth a thousand words. How much is a picture worth when a young person can look up and see themselves in the picture?” My mission is to put them in the picture.
